To better recognise the achievements of those PADI Dive Centres and Resorts who have made significant contributions to the growth and development of diving, PADI Asia Pacific have announced the finalists and winners of this year’s PADI Asia Pacific Member Awards program which recognises the efforts of dive operators during 2009.
The PADI Member Awards program was based on nine separate Asia Pacific regions; a system that ensured PADI Members compete with other PADI Members within their own geographical region for one of five Awards.
PADI 5 Star IDC Resort, Scubafish, has received a mention in the new edition of the Lonely Planet for Thailand.
The positive review highlights our strong commitment to the highest level of service and personally tailored teaching methods, and supports our philosophy of making scuba diving easy, safe and fun for people of all ages.
An excerpt includes: “This digital-imaging academy runs a slew of hands-on courses from one-day, two-dive seminars (7100B) to six-day, nine-dive videography tutorials (32,900B). The Tips & Tricks course (2700B) is a popular option for those who already have a bit of photo experience.”
Scubafish is proud to have become a member of Greenfins and to actively support the Greenfins Code of Conduct. Since being founded in 2004, Greenfins have been dedicated to protecting the reef’s of Thailand through raising awareness and teaching Reef Watch methods for ongoing monitoring.
